How quickly can I start?
You create an account with a passkey and go through a short wizard: company name, country, base currency and financial year. That takes about a minute and a half. After that you can create your first invoice right away.
What does Readybooks cost?
Free for one user with two finalized invoices per month. After that from €4.99 per month per administration, billed yearly. Every feature is in every paid plan; all you choose is how many people need access.
Does it cost extra if my accountant joins?
No. You invite them with the Bookkeeper role. That account is free and never counts towards your user limit, even when the same practice is involved in several administrations.
Can I run several companies in one account?
Yes. Each administration keeps its own currency, tax rules, customers, number sequences and ledger, and they are separated in the database. You switch with one click and one login.
Does Readybooks file my VAT return?
Readybooks calculates your return and exports the summary per box. Filing is yours to do; a direct connection needs certification and a government certificate, and we deliberately do not have those.
Can I export my data?
Always, in JSON and in XAF, including after you cancel. We hold you nowhere in a format only we can read.
You do not have to do this alone.
Adding an accountant costs nothing. Invite them with the Bookkeeper role and let them work in the same administration, without you having to export or forward anything.
